Katherine D. "Kay" Dunn, 75, of Pine Knoll Road died Monday evening at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
She had lived in Lenox since 2003, and previously had lived in South Lee since 1975.
Born in Buffalo, N.Y., on May 29, 1929, daughter of Peter and Mary Williamson Dee, she was a 1947 graduate of Gorton High School in Yonkers, N.Y. She graduated from the former Berkshire Hills Junior College in Great Barrington in 1949.
Primarily a homemaker, she was a Realtor with Mole and Mole Real Estate in Lenox for 20 years, retiring in 2003.
She and her husband, Raymond J. Dunn Sr., were married Nov. 11, 1950, in Corpus Christi Church in New York City. They had also lived in Larchmont, N.Y., and Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J.
While in South Lee, she was a communicant of St. Francis' Church. While in Lenox, she was a communicant of St. Ann's Church. An accomplished bridge player, she also enjoyed skiing and golf and was a member of the Stockbridge Golf Club.
Besides her husband, she leaves four daughters, Katherine D. Dunn of Tampa, Fla., Mary Ann Werner of Glen Rock, N.J., Jayne T. Stemple of Ho-Ho-Kus and Jennifer Faust of Milford, Del.; two sons, William F. Dunn of Ridgewood, N.J., and Raymond J. Dunn Jr. of Ashley Falls; a brother, Peter Dee of Londonderry, Vt.; two sisters, Mary Ann "Polly" Buckley of Bennington, Vt., and Jane Strange of Rye, N.Y., and three grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Calling hours for Katherine D. Dunn will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 at the ROCHE FUNERAL HOME. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:15 from the funeral home, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at noon at St. Ann's Church.
Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial donations to St. Ann's Church Parish Center in care of the funeral home, 120 Main St., Lenox, MA 01240.
She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Peter Werner, Meghan Stemple and Brianna Rae Dunn; her daughters-in-law, Lisa Ball Dunn and Karen Dunn, and her sons-in-law, Robert Werner, Robert Stemple, Robert Faust and Bradford Banks.
