Emelia "Amy" D. Savoy, 70, 84 Tor Court died Saturday evening at home.
Born in Pittsfield on May 27, 1934, daughter of Henry and Claudia LeBlanc Hould, she was a 1952 graduate of St. Joseph's High School.
A sales associate in retail clothing, Mrs. Savoy had been employed by Sears, the former M. Solomon's "Little Folks World," Boutique 134 and Vicki's.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
She enjoyed ceramics and making flower arrangements.
She and her husband, Harold L. Savoy, were married on Aug. 27, 1955.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Mark S. Savoy of Pittsfield; a daughter, Paula J. Hoyt of Exeter, N.H.; two brothers, Gerard Hould of Dracut and Paul E. Hould of Leverne, Calif., and three grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Emelia "Amy" Savoy, who died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 10, at 9 at Sacred Heart Church by the Rev. James K. Joyce, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society or to the charity of one's choice in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
Mrs. Savoy is also survived by three grandchildren, Ashley, Morgan and Sydney.
