Ida A. Pinsonneault, 81, formerly of 141 Cadwell Road, died Friday at Providence Court in Lenox.
Born in North Adams on Jan. 3, 1923, daughter of Anthony and Bernice Pugliese Recchia, she graduated from Drury High School.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Pinsonneault was employed at the Rice Silk Mill for a short time.
She was a communicant of St. Mark's Church.
Her husband, Clarence "Red" Pinsonneault, whom she married in 1942, died March 22, 1987.
She leaves two sons, Robert A. Pinsonneault of Pittsfield and Brian D. Pinsonneault of Merritt Island, Fla.; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Ida A. Pinsonneault, 81, who died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, will be celebrated Tuesday, Aug. 24, at 9 at St. Mark's Church by Rev. John Salatino, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Cancer Research Hospital in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield 01201.
Mrs. Pinsonneault will be lovingly missed by her grandchildren, Derik, Tara and Brian Jr. and her great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Jonah. She was predeceased by her sisters, Josephine DelGallo and Lena Dubie, and her brother, Arco Recchia.
