Edna M. Zebrowski, 84, mother of George F. Zebrowski Jr. of Windsor, died Saturday at Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility, where she had resided for several months.
Born in Holyoke on Dec. 15, 1919, daughter of Peter and Mary Adamiak Chlystek, she was a 1937 graduate of South Hadley High School.
Mrs. Zebrowski was employed by Mount Holyoke College in housekeeping.
She was a former communicant of Mater Dolorosa Church.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening and hosting family gatherings.
Her husband, George F. Zebrowski Sr., died in 1979.
Besides her son, she leaves two sisters, Helen Askew of Chicopee and Rose Jarzyna of Holyoke, and three grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Edna M. Zebrowski will be tomorrow, Aug. 24, at 9 from RYDER FUNERAL HOME, South Hadley, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at Mater Dolorosa Church and burial in Calvary Cemetery, both in Holyoke.
Calling hours will be today from 4 to 8. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Marsha, of Windsor, and three grandchildren, Zachary Zebrowski of Arlington, Va., Natasha Zebrowski of Somerville and Tatiana Zebrowski of Los Angeles.
She was predeceased by her brother, Joe Hayseley, and two sisters, Frances Filipak and Jeannette Hajec.
