Thomas E. Brooksbank, 84, of Theroux Drive, Chicopee, died Wednesday at his home.
He was the brother of Benjamin Brooksbank of Dalton.
Born in Holyoke on May 15, 1920, son of Benjamin and Mary Curran Brooksbank, he was educated in the Holyoke schools.
Mr. Brooksbank was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and a retired employee of the city of Holyoke Department of Public Works.
He had resided in Holyoke most of his life before moving to Chicopee in 1990.
Besides his brother, he leaves two sisters, Helen Phelan and Dorothy Walker, both of East Longmeadow.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A funeral will be held this morning at 8:30 from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St., Holyoke, followed by a Mass in Holy Cross Church at 9:30.
Committal services will be held at 11 in the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 31 Capital Drive, West Springfield, MA 01089.
He also leaves a sister-in-law, Agnes Brooksbank of Dalton, and several nieces and nephews.
