Timothy J. Kelley, 42, of 430 Columbia Drive, Tampa, Fla., formerly of Pittsfield, died suddenly Saturday at home.
Born in Milwaukee on Oct. 3, 1961, son of Helen Broderick Kelley of Tampa and the late Col. Gerald Patrick Kelley Sr., he resided in Pittsfield from 1966 to 1970 and attended the former Pomeroy Elementary School.
He was a 1979 graduate of North Salinas (Calif.) High School and attended the University of South Florida. He moved to Tampa in 1985.
Mr. Kelley had been employed in the real estate business as well as construction management in Tampa. He was a former president of Satellite Wholesaler Inc., also in Tampa.
He was an avid sportsman and adventurer.
Besides his mother and his wife, the former Mary Rae Marcantoni, whom he married in 1992, he leaves three brothers, Gerald P. "Pat" Kelley Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., Michael F. Kelley and Shaun Kelly, both of Tampa, and two sisters, Cecelia "Mary" Kelley of Vicksburg, Miss., and Moira Kelley Zakoske of Jacksonville.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Timothy J. Kelley, age 42, died July 24, 2004. Tim will be remembered as having an insatiable zest for life. A graveside service will be conducted today, July 29, at 2 at St. Joseph's Cemetery by the Rev. James Cunningham.
Tim was the beloved uncle of Patrick, Sam, Robert and Tommy Kelley of Jacksonville; Megan, Daniel and Molly Beth Jordan of Vicksburg; Charles, Brian and Rosemary Kelley of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Catherine, Amanda and Nicholas Zakoske of Jacksonville.
He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Nancy Vickers, and his brother-in-law, John Zakoske, both of Jacksonville, and relatives in this area. DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME has been entrusted with the arrangements.
