JoAnn M. Heath, 63, of 305 Lenox Ave. died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Julie M. Vancini, 290 Westmorland Lane, Saunderstown, R.I.
Born in Pittsfield on July 27, 1940, daughter of Edwin L. and Julia Marie Lambert McGinty, she was a 1957 graduate of St. Joseph's High School. She also graduated from the former St. Luke's Hospital as an X-ray technician and completed its obstetric ultrasound course.
At the time of her death, Mrs. Heath was employed as an office manager by Berkshire OB-GYN Associates. She had worked there for 35 years.
She was a communicant of St. Charles' Church.
She and her husband, Raymond E. Heath, were married Sept. 5, 1960, in St. Charles' Church.
Besides her husband and daughter, she leaves another daughter, Jennifer M. Hall of Pittsfield; a brother, Lambert E. McGinty of Pittsfield; two sisters, Maureen Yeager of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mary Ellen Mack of Dalton, and four grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for JoAnn M. Heath, 63, who died in Saunderstown, R.I., on Saturday, July 10, 2004, will be Thursday at 9 from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, 776 North St., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 in St. Charles' Church by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor.
Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus Scholarship Fund in care of the funeral home.
Beloved grandmother to Andrea and Amanda Vancini and Zachary and Nicholas Hall.
