Stacia B. DeFazio, 91, of 10 Union Court died yesterday at home.
Born in Pittsfield on Jan. 20, 1913, daughter of John and Catherine Fierik Lemanski, she attended local schools.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. DeFazio had worked for several years at A.H. Rice Co.
She was a past communicant of Mount Carmel. In recent years, she attended Notre Dame.
She enjoyed shopping, crocheting and playing cards.
Her husband, Victor DeFazio, whom she married Sept. 23, 1942, in Mount Carmel Church, died in 1959.
She leaves two nieces, Cathy Lawler of Lanesboro and Denise Herene of Pittsfield, and a grandniece and caregiver, Kelly Mickle of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Stacia B. DeFazio, 91, died peacefully at home July 10, 2004. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 17, at 9 in Notre Dame Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Stacia is lovingly survived by her great-niece and caregiver, Kelly Mickle; her loving great-niece, Meagen Herene, and her great-great-niece, Paige "Angel" Mickle.
In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, 40 Maplewood Ave.
