Thomas L. Doner, 45, of 23 Bushey Road died Saturday morning at home after a short illness.
Born in Pittsfield on May 27, 1959, son of Noreen Kelly Doner and the late Robert B. Doner, he was a 1977 graduate of St. Joseph's High School.
A Navy veteran of the Gulf War, he was honorably discharged in 1985.
Mr. Doner had been employed as a production supervisor at Cavallero Plastics for two years. Before that, he worked at Jones-Beloit Co. in Dalton for 17 years.
He was a communicant of St. Charles' Church, a member of Bass Pro, and enjoyed fishing and camping.
He and his wife, the former Suzanne Carrigan, were married Aug. 23, 2003.
Besides his wife and mother, of Pittsfield, he leaves a stepson, Christopher Carrigan of Pittsfield, and two sisters, Christine Flaherty and Kathleen Carr, both of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Thomas L. Doner, 45, died Saturday, June 26, 2004, at home surrounded by his family and friends. Beloved uncle to Kelly Flaherty and Heather Carrigan, brother-in-law to Stephen Flaherty and loving godfather to Jacob Martin.
The funeral will be Wednesday, June 30, at 10:15 from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 celebrated at St. Charles' Church by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor. Calling hours will be tomorrow, June 29, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home.
If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires or to St. Charles' Church, both in care of the funeral home.
