Clark E. Calebaugh Sr

Clark E. Calebaugh Sr., 90, of Glen Circle, Middletown Township, Media, Pa., formerly of Pittsfield, died yesterday at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Lima, Pa.
Born in Antioch, Ohio on July 17, 1913, son of David and Rachel Bonar Calebaugh, he graduated from Antioch High School.
He moved to Middletown Township 38 years ago.
Mr. Calebaugh was employed by GE for 45 years, beginning as an apprentice toolmaker in Pittsfield at the age of 19, then as a foreman and as a purchaser of machines used to produce war materials for the Army. He retired as a manufacturing engineer from GE Polymershapes in Middletown.
He was a member of Lima United Methodist Church in Middletown. While in Pittsfield, he was a member of the former Trinity United Methodist Church and a member of the Crescent-Pittsfield Lodge AF&AM.
His wife, the former Doris Snell, died in 2000.
He leaves a son, Clark E. Calebaugh Jr. of Middletown Township; a daughter, Barbara Digi of Middletown Township; a brother, George Calebaugh of Dalton; a sister, Ethel Brown of Palm Coast, Fla., three granddaughters and three great-granddaughters. Another son, John Henry Calebaugh, is deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Clark E. Calebaugh, who died June 15, 2004, will be Saturday at 11 at MINSHALL-SHROPSHIRE FUNERAL HOME, Middletown (Route 352) and Knowlton Roads, Middletown Township, Media, PA.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 until the service. Interment will private. Contributions may be made to Lima United Methodist Church, 209 N. Middletown Road, Lima, PA 19037.
