Ann G. "Toby" Clarke, 66, of 130 East New Lenox Road died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center following a battle with cancer.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., on Jan. 28, 1938, daughter of William and Eileen Carey Gagan, she grew up in Pittsfield and graduated from St. Joseph's High School in 1955.
She attended Cooley Dickinson School of Nursing.
She was employed for more than 10 years in the dental office of Dr. Dominic Agostin of Wilton, Conn., and Dr. Earl Reeves in Pittsfield as a dental assistant.
She also lived in Wilton for about 15 years.
She was a volunteer in the Pittsfield Beautiful program during the past 15 years.
She and her husband, Jeremy B. Clarke Sr., were married Sept. 7, 1957, in St. Mary's Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves one son, Jeremy B. Clarke Jr. of Chestertown, Md.; two daughters, Carey L. Knight of Chester Spring, Pa., and Julee A. Clarke of Alpharetta, Ga.; a sister, Eileen O'Boyle of Dalton, and four grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Ann G. "Toby" Clarke, who died June 1, 2004, will be private and at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
