Eleanor Page, 98, of Berkshire Place died Sunday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 21, 1905, daughter of Joseph and Mabel Brockway Ressler, she was a 1923 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Page was employed by the former Morton's Jewelers for more than 20 years, retiring in 1974. She also worked for Berkshire Gas Co. for several years.
She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star, for which she played the organ.
She enjoyed baking and cooking.
She leaves two nephews, Everette Page of Dalton and Charles Page of Williamstown, Vt.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Eleanor Page died Sunday, May 9, 2004. The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 1 at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Robert Rennie, pastor of First Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from noon until the time of the service. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
Eleanor also is survived by her grandnieces, Michelle Atwood and Lori Page, grandnephew Michael Page, and two great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
