Yvette L. Faucher

Yvette L. Faucher, 94, a former longtime resident of Pittsfield, died Thursday at Marist Hill Nursing Center in Waltham after a long illness.

Born in Berlin, N.H., on Aug. 6, 1909, she was the daughter of Euclid and Mary Bouchard Guilbert.

She also lived briefly in Sterling, Newton and Watertown.

She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and, most of all, sewing.

She leaves two daughters, Sister Mary Anne Faucher of the Society of Mary Missionary Sisters, of Waltham, and Edith Madonna Dombrowski of Sterling; three grandsons, and three great-granddaughters. She was predeceased by a son, Mark Faucher.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Yvette L. Faucher, who died April 29, 2004, will be tomorrow, May 4, at 9 from BRASCO & SONS MEMORIAL, 773 Moody St., Waltham, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi Church, Ash Street, Auburndale, at 10.

Committal services and interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Pittsfield, on Wednesday at 11. Visiting hours will be Monday from 4 to 7. Parking attendants will be on duty. Mrs. Faucher was predeceased by a sister, Edna Sulley, and a brother, Clyde Guilbert.
