Lucy F. Savage, 83, of 105 Christopher Drive, Westfield, formerly of Pittsfield, died yesterday at home.
Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 13, 1920, daughter of Joseph A. and Mary E. Stellatano Russo, she attended Pittsfield schools.
She moved to Springfield in 1953 and to Westfield in 1984.
A homemaker, Mrs. Savage was a communicant of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Westfield.
Her husband, Martin P. Savage, whom she married in 1942, died in May 1991.
She leaves a son, Thomas Savage of Westfield; three daughters, Kathleen Guevin of Springfield, Elizabeth Zebian of Westfield and Ellen Gillman of Springfield; a brother, Frank Russo of Pittsfield; a sister, Rose Pivero of Pittsfield, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Lucy F. Russo Savage, who died April 27, 2004, will be Friday, April 30, from ROBERT E. CUSACK FUNERAL HOME, 94 Main St. (Route 20), Westfield, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Bartlett Street, Westfield, at a time to be announced.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Pittsfield. Visiting hours will be tomorrow, April 29, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 111 Elm St., West Springfield, MA 01189.
