Kathleen A. Zaccari, 55, of Providence Care Center of Lenox died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center.
She had resided at the nursing facility for seven years.
Born in Pittsfield on June 24, 1948, daughter of Anthony S. and Catherine Frazitta Zaccari, she attended Pittsfield schools.
She was a communicant of Mount Carmel Church and enjoyed playing bingo and cards, and listening to music.
She leaves a brother, Joseph A. Zaccari of Williamsburg; a stepbrother, Joseph A. Mele of Windsor, Conn.; a stepsister, Jo-Ann Verlik of Elkton, Md.; and her stepmother, Beatrice O. Zaccari of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral or Miss Kathleen A. Zaccari, who died April 17, 2004, will be Wednesday, April 21, at 8:30 from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 in Mount Carmel Church by the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker, CSS, pastor.
Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Pittsfield. Calling hours will be tomorrow, April 20, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. The Ladies' Guild of Mount Carmel Church will meet at the funeral home tomorrow at 5 for a prayer service.
She also leaves several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Providence Care Center of Lenox Employee Fund in care of the funeral home. Her longtime companion, Alfred Konicki, died in 1997.
