Gail McKenna, 58, of 27 Eagle Wing Lane died April 9 at home of heart failure.
Born in Pittsfield on March 24, 1946, daughter of Ghislaine Durivahee Brogan of Stratford, Conn., and the late Gaynor Brogan, she graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1965 and earned her bachelor of arts in 1969 from Silvermine School of Art in New Canaan, Conn.
She had resided in Pittsfield for 30 years, then Sheffield for 20 years before moving to Brewster four years ago.
Mrs. McKenna had been an art teacher at Berkshire School in Sheffield and a professional artist.
Besides her mother, she leaves her husband of 32 years, Edward John "Jack" McKenna Jr.; two sons, Edward John McKenna III of Cambridge and Conor James McKenna of Monterey, Calif.; a daughter, Keira McKenna Holbrough of Atkinson, N.H.; two brothers, Michael Brogan of Easthampton, Conn., and Christopher Brogan of Stratford; two sisters, Linda Sutyak and Lisa Brogan, both of Stratford, and a grandchild.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Gail Brogan McKenna, who died April 9, 2004, will be Saturday, April 17, at 10 at NICKERSON FUNERAL HOME, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 at Our Lady of the Cape Parish, 482 Stoney Brook Road, Brewster.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 9 on Friday, April 16, at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Helen Berube Teen Parent Program, P.O. Box 1036, Pittsfield, MA 01202. Mrs. McKenna was a talented artist, a beloved teacher and a devoted mother, wife and friend.
