Eva Marie Evangelisto

Eva Marie Evangelisto, 79, formerly of 32 Monroe St., died Wednesday afternoon at Melbourne Place, where she had resided for three years.
Born in Fall River on April 19, 1924, daughter of James and Eva Paquin Perry, she graduated from high school there.
A homemaker, Mrs. Evangelisto had been employed for a time at the former Elmvale Worsted Mill.
She was a former communicant of Mount Carmel Church, and enjoyed sewing.
Her husband, Joseph J. Evangelisto, whom she married June 11, 1943, died Jan. 21, 2000.
She leaves three sons, Joseph J. Evangelisto of Dalton, James Evangelisto and John Evangelisto, both of Pittsfield; a daughter, JoAnn M. Gilbert of Richmond; a brother, Raymond Perry of Fall River; three sisters, Eleanor Teixeira and Doris LaHaie, both of Fall River, and Helen Correia of Portsmouth, R.I., eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Eva Marie Evangelisto, who died Wednesday, April 7, 2004, will be conducted Tuesday, April 13, at 11 at DERY FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker, CSS, pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be tomorrow, April 12, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Evangelisto may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires or to the Alzheimer's Association of Western Massachusetts in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
