Eleanor L. Kelly, 89, of 379 East St. died Tuesday at Providence Health Care Center of Lenox.
Born in West Stockbridge on Aug. 31, 1914, daughter of John L. and Elizabeth Gorman Quirk, she was a 1931 graduate of St. Joseph's High School.
Mrs. Quirk was a homemaker.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and a member of its Rosary Sodality.
Her husband, Arthur Kelly, whom she married April 22, 1935, died Feb. 2, 1980.
She leaves a daughter, Sheila A. Koscher of Pittsfield; a son, Peter M. Kelly Sr. of Pittsfield; a brother, Eugene L. Quirk of Vero Beach, Fla., six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Eleanor L. Kelly, 89, died in Pittsfield on Tuesday, April 6, 2004. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 13, at 8:15 from the DWYER FUNERAL HOME, 776 North St., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 in St. Joseph's Church, celebrated by the Rev. Michael A. Shershanovich, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, April 12, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home.
If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the St. Joseph Church Improvement Fund or Providence Health Care Center of Lenox, care of the funeral home.
Beloved grandmother to Nancy Mosher, Brian Koscher, Susan Kaplan, Karen Jones, Christine Schwarzman and Peter Kelly Jr.; great-grandmother to Michaela and Brendan Koscher, and mother-in-law to Rosalie Kelly.
