Florence M. DiCicco

Florence M. DiCicco, 84, formerly of Maud Street, died yesterday morning at Providence Care Center in Lenox.

Born in Pittsfield on Jan. 25, 1920, daughter of Joseph and Rosina Coiro Sangiovanni, she was a 1938 graduate of Pittsfield High School.

Mrs. DiCicco was employed as an assembler at the former Sheaffer Eaton Corp. for 15 years, retiring when it closed in the 1970s.

She also had worked at the former Pittsfield General Hospital.

She attended St. Joseph's Church.

She leaves four sons, Michael DiCicco of Chelmsford, Thomas DiCicco of Hancock, Gerald DiCicco of Richardson, Texas, and Joseph DiCicco of Pittsfield; a brother, Dominic Sangiovanni of Medway; two sisters, Lena Adams and Helen Goyette, both of Pittsfield; 14 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- Florence M. DiCicco, age 84, died March 27, 2004. The funeral will be Tuesday at 8:15 from DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 9 at St. Joseph's Church.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home . In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.

She also is survived by her loving grandchildren, Denise Gingrusso, Christopher and Stephen DiCicco, Danielle Williams, Theresa, Jay, Patrick, Jennifer, Jeffrey, David, Michelle, Michael, Casey and Courtney DiCicco, and her nine great-grandchildren.
