Lisolette W. Kowalski, 76, of 45 Seymour St. died Friday at Hillcrest Commons, where she had resided since last October.
Born in Germany on June 25, 1927, daughter of Hermann and Wilhelmina Dignat Kowalewski, she attended schools in Germany and came to the United States in 1952.
Mrs. Kowalski was employed as a dietary aide at Berkshire Medical Center for 32 years, retiring in 1992.
She also had worked at one time at the Wagon Wheel Motel and the former Ida and John's Restaurant.
She enjoyed reading.
Her husband, Edmund G. Kowalski, died Oct. 15, 1989.
She leaves a daughter, Renate H. Kowalski of Pittsfield, and a sister, Helene Brands of Germany. A son, Alfred G. Kowalski, died Aug. 31, 1993.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A private graveside service for Lisolette W. Kowalski, who died March 19, 2004, will be held in Pittsfield Cemetery at a later date.
There will be no calling hours. DERY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
