Faith A. Trepania

Faith A. Trepania, 62, of Berkshiretown Apartments, 176 Columbus Ave., died Saturday at home following a long illness.
Born in Albany, N.Y., on June 9, 1941, daughter of Grayce Laramee Rogers, she was educated in Pittsfield schools, graduating in 1960 from Pittsfield High School.
Ms. Trepania was employed as a legal secretary, retiring in 1998.
She also was a notary public.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, and a member of the Berkshire Association of Paralegal Secretaries.
She enjoyed traveling and reading.
She had been a volunteer for more than 10 years with the Red Cross and for a few years with the Salvation Army.
She leaves a son, George J. Berne of Pittsfield; a daughter, Susan C. Mount of Pittsfield; two sisters, Diana J. LaPointe of Sunset, Texas, and Millicent C. Southard of Pittsfield, and three grandchildren. Another son, Scott D. Trepania, died June 15, 1995.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial Mass will be celebrated for Faith A. Trepania, who died March 14, 2004, on Wednesday at 9 at St. Joseph's Church by the Rev. Michael Shershanovich, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
Survivors include Ms. Trepania's three grandchildren, Tyler Trepania, Stephen Mount and Gianna Sondrini; several nieces and nephews, and her friend, Hank Kirchner.
