William Arthur "Billy" Kent

William Arthur "Billy" Kent, 21, of Elm Street, Lenox Dale, died Thursday in Lee.

Born in International Falls, Minn., on Feb. 24, 1983, son of Ronald A. and Patricia A. Savela Kent of Lenox Dale, he attended schools in Lenox, was a 2001 graduate of Lenox Memorial High School and later attended Berkshire Community College.

He was a musician who enjoyed playing drums and had participated in functions with the Gaelic Drummers of Pittsfield.

He also enjoyed singing and took voice lessons at the Berkshire Music School.

He spoke fluent Spanish and Latin and enjoyed computer graphics, hiking, camping and carpentry.

He leaves his parents; two sisters, Allison E. Hunter of Memphis, Tenn., and Amy J. Kent of Lenox Dale; two brothers, Christopher T. Kent of Potsdam, N.Y., and Terrence W. Kent of Brighton, and his paternal grandmother, Iva M. Bornheimer Kent of Rochester, N.Y.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for William Arthur Kent, who died Feb. 26, 2004, will be Monday at 11 at the ROCHE FUNERAL HOME, with the Rev. Gary Wagner, pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Berkshire Village, conducting the service.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 1 to 4. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make donations in Billy's memory may do so to the Berkshire Music School Inc., in care of the funeral home, 120 Main St., Lenox, MA 01240.
