Shane Andrew Reardon, 20, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., died suddenly on Saturday in Orlando, Fla.
He was the grandson of Marion Cavanaugh of Dalton and the son of Jeff Reardon, formerly of Dalton.
Born in Palm Beach Gardens on Dec. 29, 1983, son of Jeff and Phebe Reardon, he was a former student at Palm Beach Gardens High School and graduated from The Academy at Swift River.
He was a student at Full Sail, where he was pursing a degree in recording arts.
Mr. Reardon was a roller hockey player in Palm Beach Gardens and played for the Palm Beach Gardens All Star Team.
Besides his parents of Palm Beach Gardens, and his grandmother and her husband, Larry Cavanaugh of Dalton, he leaves a brother, Jay Reardon of Palm Beach Gardens; a sister, Kristi Reardon of Palm Beach Gardens, and his step-grandfather, Charles Till of West Palm Beach, Fla.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services will be at 1 today at WILLIAM N. HOWARD FUNERAL HOME, Palm Beach Gardens. A viewing will precede the service beginning at 11. In lieu of flowers, Shane's family has established the Shane Reardon Memorial Foundation at 7100-39 Fairway Drive, PMB 400, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418 for contributions.
"We hope to help others in need É as Shane always helped anyone who needed him É his love and compassion for others will be carried on through his memorial foundation." He was loved by his family and friends, and will be remembered for his warm personality, beautiful smile and tendency to care more about others than himself.
Music and writing were his passion, love for his family and friends were his life. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Thomas L. Price Funeral Home, 553 Northlake Boulevard, North Palm Beach, FL 33408.
