Paul Boucher, 50, of 25 Evelyn Park died Tuesday at home after a battle with cancer.
Born in West Hartford, Conn., on Sept. 24, 1953, son of Paul J. and Constance Wass Boucher, he was educated in schools in New Britain, Conn., schools and studied guitar at the Hartford (Conn.) Conservatory of Music.
He also had resided on Route 20, New Lebanon, N.Y., for many years.
Mr. Boucher was employed as a painter in Connecticut and for various companies in the Pittsfield area, before taking early retirement because of his health.
An avid musician, he was accomplished on the guitar and harmonica, and taught guitar for Falcetti Music.
He was a volunteer at St. Mark's Church, where he used his skills as a painter and also helped with the weekly food distribution for the needy.
He and his wife, the former Barbara Neumeister, were married Oct. 4, 1975.
Besides his wife, he leaves twins, Aaron Boucher of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Heather Boucher, stationed in Guam, and another daughter, Andrea Boucher of Pittsfield; a brother, Marcell Boucher of Bristol, Tenn., and a sister, Laurette Abucewicz of Bristol, Conn.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Paul Boucher, formerly of Route 20, New Lebanon, N.Y., and New Britain, Conn., died Feb. 3, 2004, at home in the midst of his loving family. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 at St. Mark's Church by the Rev. John Salatino, pastor.
Burial will be Saturday at 11:15 in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain, Conn. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in his memory may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME.
