Margaret M. Bogino

Margaret M. Bogino, 88, of 1859 East St. died Saturday at the Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility, where she had been admitted in July 2003.
Born in Wilmington, Vt., on March 25, 1915, daughter of Frederico and Maria Maselli Valenti, she attended Pittsfield schools.
Mrs. Bogino was a homemaker and a communicant of All Souls' Church.
Her husband, Provino L. Bogino, whom she married June 25, 1932, died Nov. 15, 1987.
She leaves two daughters, Carole Putnam of Ottumwa, Iowa, and Jacqueline Tharp of Rome, Ga.; two sons, John Bogino of Atlanta and Leo L. Bogino of Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Nina Chiaretto of Pittsfield and Val Wilk of Rocklin, Calif.; two brothers, Dario Valenti of Pittsfield and Frederick Valenti Jr. of Pittsfield; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Robert L. Bogino on Nov. 20, 1964, and Provino L. Bogino Jr. in May 1996.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Margaret M. Bogino, who died Jan. 31, 2004, will be Thursday, Feb. 5, at 8:30 from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 9:30 in All Souls' Church by the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker, CSS, pastor.
Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow, Feb. 4, from 5 to 7. Mrs. Bogino was predeceased by two sons, Robert L. Bogino and Provino L. Bogino Jr., two brothers, Gino Valenti and Adolph Valenti, and a sister, Ida Doyle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to All Souls' Church in care of the funeral home.
