Nathan Albert Pike, 74, formerly of 4 Ring St., died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center.
He had resided at Hillcrest Commons since 2000.
Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 7, 1929, son of Frank N. and Annabelle Bressette Pike, he was a 1947 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
He had lived on Ring Street for 25 years.
A contractor, Mr. Pike owned and operated Berkshire Installers of Pittsfield, a siding, roofing and home remodeling company, for 40 years. He retired in 1993.
He leaves three daughters, Linda J. Durham of Bakersfield, Calif., Beverly A. Nelson of Gardengrove, Calif., and Laura M. Catalano of Pittsfield; three sisters, Marian Columbari of Pittsfield, Mavis Frandsen of Grand Island, Neb., and Frances Marskowenski of Pelham, N.H.; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and his former wife, Shirley Boesse Pike of Pittsfield. His son, Ronald A. Pike, died in 1957.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- At the request of Nathan Albert Pike, who died Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, there will be no funeral services or calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Pike may be made to the Christian Center in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201, which is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Pike was predeceased by a brother, Glen Pike of Coco, Fla., in 1992.
