Olga B. Gleason, 94, formerly of Rose Manor, died Tuesday at Springside of Pittsfield, where she had resided for the past two months.
Born in Pittsfield on Nov. 13, 1909, daughter of Gustav and Natalie Reiner Bornak, she was a 1929 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
She had also graduated from the former Berkshire Business College in Pittsfield.
She had been employed as a secretary at GE from 1928 until retiring in 1946.
Mrs. Gleason was a member of the Zion's Lutheran Church.
Her husband, Louis S. Gleason, died February 1967.
She leaves a sister, Sara McClintock of Pittsfield, and a brother, H. Norman Bornak of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Olga B. Gleason will be private and held on Friday at 11 at the WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. She leaves many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Harold C. Bornak and Rudolph P. Bornak, and two sisters, Melanie Bornak and Alice Mendel.
