Michael Bruno Leoncini, 51, of 99 Second St. died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center of natural causes.
Born in Pittsfield on July 12, 1952, son of Bruno A. and Jennie Veltri Leoncini, he was a member of the first graduating class of Taconic High School, in 1970. He also attended an architectural school in Boston.
He moved to California in 1976 and graduated from Columbia School of Broadcasting.
He was last employed by Injection Solutions of Lanesboro. He also worked for WBEC radio station in Pittsfield for two years; Plastic-Mold Manufacturers, including Pen Ro Group for 10 years, where he was a supervisor, and also Hi-Tech Mold and Tool Inc. and Pittsfield Plastics.
Mr. Leoncini was a communicant of All Souls' Church.
He enjoyed music, especially playing the drums.
He leaves two sisters, Mary N. Leoncini and Linda A. Leoncini, both of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Michael Bruno Leoncini, age 51, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003. Survivors include a nephew, Dustin Leoncini, and several cousins and aunts. There will be no calling hours.
Following cremation, graveside services will take place Monday, Dec. 15, at 1 at the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery with the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker, C.S.S., pastor of All Souls Church, officiating.
If friends desire, donations may be made to the family to defray expenses in care of the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield, which is in charge of arrangements. He also leaves his longtime companion, Michele McElwain of Pittsfield.
