Hilda H. Worthen, 73, of 235 High St., South Paris, Maine, formerly of Cambridge Avenue, Pittsfield, died Friday at home.
Born in Poland, Maine, on Aug. 14, 1930, she was the daughter of Charles and Emily Keene Hueston, she graduated from high school in Maine.
She resided in Pittsfield during the 1960s and ‘70s.Mrs. Worthen was a homemaker.
Her husband, Harold E. Worthen, a former vice president of First Agricultural Bank, died July 14, 1984.
She leaves a daughter, Constance Polidoro of Dandridge, Tenn.; three sons, Brett Worthen of Merritt Island, Fla., Charles Worthen of Niceville, Fla., and Brian Worthen of Akron, Ohio, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Hilda H. Worthen, 73, who died Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, will be conducted today, Dec. 9, at 1 at First Congregational Church, South Paris, by the Rev. Don Mayberry.
Interment will be in the spring in Highland Cemetery, West Poland. Memorial contributions to First Congregational Church of South Paris in care of Don Mayberry. Arrangements are under the direction of WESTON-CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main St., South Paris, ME 04281. The family wishes to thank her many friends and Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for their support and loving hands.
She also leaves a son-in-law, Thomas Polidoro; brother-in-law, Albert Marston of Poland, and two nieces, Sandra Marston Harper of Belgrade, Maine, and Bonnie Marston Marshall of Norway, Maine. Predeceased by a sister, Doris Hueston Marston, in 2002.
