Louise Mary Navrocki, 86, of 33 Unkamet Park Drive died yesterday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 11, 1917, daughter of Joseph and Concetta Damiano Rubbo, she attended schools in Pittsfield.
She worked for the former England Brothers Department Store, retiring when the store closed. Prior to that, she and her husband, Costic "Jerry" Navrocki, were the proprietors of the former West Side Market on West Street until 1968.
She was a communicant of Mount Carmel Church, and a singer and soloist at Mount Carmel for Sunday masses.
She also sang for the St. Anthony's devotions on Tuesday evening at Mount Carmel and for several weddings.
She leaves her husband, whom she married on Nov. 9, 1946.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Louise Mary Rubbo Navrocki will take place Tuesday at 9:15 at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at Mount Carmel Church, celebrated by the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker, CSS, pastor.
Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 4 to 7. Memorial donations are suggested for the Mount Carmel Church Fund in care of the funeral home.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Anna M. Galli and Lena Siciliano.
