Robert T. Bradley

Robert T. Bradley, 79, of 77 High St. died Friday at home.
Born in Massena, N.Y., on Dec. 18, 1923, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bradley, he was orphaned when he was very young.
He attended schools in Massena and had resided in Holyoke for 40 years before moving to Dalton nine years ago.
An Army veteran of World War II, he served as a sergeant with the 1st Infantry Division. He received the Bronze Star for his actions during the Battle of the Bulge.
Mr. Bradley had worked for various paper mills for 45 years. He had last been employed by NVF Paper Co. in Holyoke, retiring in 1988.
He was a patron of many wildlife causes and of the American Heart and Lung associations.
His wife, the former Ann H. Jezyk, died in 1978.
He leaves two sons, Robert J. Bradley of Windsor and Richard A. Bradley of Dalton, and two grandsons.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Robert T. Bradley, who died Dec. 5, 2003, will be conducted Monday at 2 at BARTLETT-WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Steven Philbrick. There will be no calling hours.
Following cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family. Among survivors are his grandsons, James R. Bradley of Denver and Joel M. Bradley, a student at Williams College; his daughter-in-law, Ruth A. Bradley of Windsor; and his sister-in-law, Irene Mozgala, and nephew, Walter J. Mozgala, both of South Hadley.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home, 525 Main St., Dalton, MA 01226.
