Christine A. Low, 46, of 240 Davis St., Northboro, formerly of Pittsfield, died Thursday at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center's Memorial Campus in Worcester after a battle with breast cancer.
Born in Troy, N.Y., on Dec. 31, 1956, daughter of Ann Alaskey Snyder of Lenox and the late Walter W. Snyder, she was raised in Pittsfield, and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1974 and from Berkshire Community College in 1976.
She moved to Northboro 15 years ago.
Mrs. Low was employed in the cafeteria at Peaslee Elementary School in Northboro. She also had worked at Fidelity Investments in Boston for many years.
She was a deacon and active member of Trinity Church in Northboro.
She also was active with many school-related committees in Northboro and enjoyed crafts.
Besides her mother, she leaves her husband of 23 years, Andrew A. Low; a son, Eric A. Low, at home; a daughter, Jessica A. Low, at home; four brothers, Scott Snyder of Walden, N.Y., Stephen Snyder of Lenox, Timothy Snyder of Pittsfield and Jeffrey Snyder of Dalton; four sisters, Marilyn Sims and Susan Strack, both of Pittsfield, Sandra Snyder of Northboro and Carol Barry of Plymouth
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Christine A. Low, who died Nov. 27, 2003, will be conducted Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 10 at Trinity Church, 23 Main St., Northboro. Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be tomorrow, Dec. 1, from 5 to 8 at HAYS FUNERAL HOME, 56 Main St., Route 20, Northboro. Please omit flowers. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Association, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701, or Trinity Church Scholarship Fund, 23 Main St., Northboro, MA 01532. Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
