Nomina B. "Mina" Wills

Nomina B. "Mina" Wills, 73, of 31 Bradford St. died Sunday at home.
Born in Pittsfield on June 28, 1930, daughter of Leslie P. and Ethel R. Cook Chadwell, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School and of St. Luke's School of Nursing.
Mrs. Wills was employed as senior computer operator at Berkshire Community College for 19 years, retiring in 1995.
She enjoyed reading, needlepoint and playing with her children at card games.
She leaves three sons, Melvin G. Chadwell of Kansas City, Kan., James H. Case of Hershey, Pa., and Guy L. Wills of White River Junction, Vt.; seven daughters, Dawn A. Hitchcock Powell of Lanesboro, Rebecca J. Case of Hershey, Pa., Kim M. Case of Springfield, Lisa B. Wills and Etta E. Wills, both of Pittsfield, Rachael Wills of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and Melissa L. Howe of Canaan, N.H.; a brother, William C. Chadwell of Pittsfield; 16 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Nomina G. "Mina" Wills will be conducted Thursday at 1 at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Charles Young. Following cremation, burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Following the memorial service, all are invited to share in fellowship at 35 Balance Rock Road in Lanesboro. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to either HospiceCare in the Berkshires or to the Berkshire Humane Society, both in care of the funeral home at 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
Her brother, Leslie R. Chadwell, predeceased her in 1999. She also leaves her daughter-in-law, Robin Case, son-in-law, Mark Howe, and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be lovingly missed by her cat, Splashes.
