Marjorie Frances Eggleston

Marjorie Frances Eggleston, 87, formerly of 12 Taconic St., died yesterday at Sweet Brook Care Center in Williamstown, where she had resided since 1993.

Born in Orange on Aug. 1, 1916, daughter of Frank E. and Anna Riordan Wilcox, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School and the University of Massachusetts.

Mrs. Eggleston worked for GE's power transformer department for 44 years, retiring in 1983.

She was a communicant of St. Mary the Morning Star Church and a member of the GE Quarter Century and Pensioners' clubs.

Her husband, Donald W. Eggleston, died June 19, 1989.

She leaves a son, Bruce A. Eggleston Sr. of Pittsfield; a daughter, Donna E. Baroso of Castleton-on-Hudson, N.Y.; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Marjorie Frances Eggleston, who died Friday, Nov. 7, will be Monday, Nov. 10, at 9:15 from DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mary the Morning Star Church, celebrated by the Rev. Paul A. Bombardier, pastor.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Eggleston may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Western Massachusetts in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St.
