Wilhelmina Day, 88, of 600 Main St. died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, where she was admitted last week.
Born in Pittsfield on April 3, 1915, the daughter of Bernard E. and Jean Riddoch Stanley, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Day was employed in the central supply department at BMC for 20 years, retiring in 1980.
She leaves two sons, William Day of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Richard Day of Dalton; a sister, Jean Thomas of Troy, N.Y.; a brother, Francis Stanley of Adams, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Wilhelmina Day will be conducted Wednesday at 2 at BARTLETT-WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME in Dalton by the Rev. Dr. Robert Rennie, pastor of First Baptist Church in Pittsfield.
Burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 1 until the time of the service. Donations may be made to Elder Services of Dalton or the VNA of Pittsfield through the funeral home.
