Natalie S. Podlusky, 85, of 11 Linn St. died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 9, 1917, daughter of Stefan and Barbara Koropecka Shepsheley, she was a 1935 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
From 1961 until her retirement in 1986, she had been employed at Fort Monmouth Post in Eatontown, N.J., for the Department of the Army.
In 1951, she was a secretary at the Pentagon in Washington. Earlier, she worked as a secretary at the Buckingham Corp. Cutty Sark Scotch Whiskey in New York City.
She was a member of St. Nicholas' Russian Orthodox Church, where she sang in the church choir, which was directed by her father.
Her husband, Stephen Podlusky, chief of the Signal Corp. Museum, died in 1978.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Natalie S. Podlusky died in Pittsfield on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 7, at 10 at St. Nicholas' Russian Orthodox Church with the Rev. George Tyapko officiating.
Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. There will be no calling hours at the DWYER FUNERAL HOME. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to St. Nicholas' Russian Orthodox Church or to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Walter and Sevolod Shepsheley. She leaves her longtime friend, Mary Partridge of Pittsfield.
