Robert J. Marshall Sr., 58, of 66 South Onota St. died yesterday morning at home.
Born in Pittsfield on March 30, 1945, son of Robert and Suzanne Micklisin Marshall III, he attended St. Joseph's High School.
He served as a Marine in the Vietnam War.
He had been employed as a mechanic at GE for 25 years.
Mr. Marshall was a member of the GE Quarter Century and Pensioners clubs and the Pittsfield VFW Post 448.
He leaves three sons, Robert J. Marshall Jr. of Knoxville, Tenn., David A. Marshall and Richard J. Marshall, both of Pittsfield; four daughters, Laurie A. Marshall of Northampton, Sandra M. Lewis, Sara L. Marshall and Linda M. Marshall, all of Pittsfield; two sisters, Elizabeth A. Marshall and Suzanne H. Salatino, both of Pittsfield, and three grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Robert J. Marshall Sr. died in Pittsfield on Nov. 5, 2003. Funeral services will be private.
