Jacqueline R. Register Seely, 78, of 70 Stonehenge Road died yesterday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Newton on July 30, 1925, daughter of Thomas D. and Mary J. Cooper Harvey, she was a 1943 graduate of Newton High School.
She moved to Pittsfield from Framingham in 1962.
Mrs. Seely was a homemaker.
She enjoyed painting, traveling and reading.
Her first husband, Marine Corps Capt. William E. Register, died in 1950.
She leaves her former husband, Donald W. Seely of Fort Myers, Fla.; a son, Scott Seely of Peru; five daughters, Amy Kroboth, with whom she made her home, Kimberly Murdock and Jennifer McGovern, all of Pittsfield, Cheryl Lester of East Walpole and Leslie Ioffredo of Chatham, N.J., and 12 grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Mrs. Jacqueline R. Seely died in Pittsfield on Oct. 25, 2003. The funeral will be conducted Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. at DWYER FUNERAL HOME, 776 North St., by the Rev. Connie Morrison of Middlefield Congregational Church. Burial will be in the spring in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 4 to 7. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Fund in care of the funeral home. Beloved grandmother to Jonathan and Amy Lester; Adam Kroboth; Aubrey, Rebecca, Alena and David Murdock; Tess, Kay and Christopher McGovern, and Jenna and Michael Ioffredo.
Beloved mother-in-law to Joseph Kroboth, Steven Murdock, Patrick McGovern, Larry Ioffredo and Alan Lester. She leaves her loving longtime caregiver, Barbara Hansen, and her beloved dog, Sergio.
