Alvina Louise Mavrikes Siciliano, 85, of 67 Arcadia Blvd., Springfield, died yesterday at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Pittsfield on March 3, 1918, daughter of Enrico and Amelia Montanaro Colabattista, she attended schools in Springfield.
She returned to Pittsfield as an adult and more recently had moved to back to Springfield.
A homemaker, Mrs. Siciliano was employed by the former Elmvale Worsted and Wyandotte mills.
She was a communicant of Mount Carmel Church in Springfield and enjoyed playing bingo.
Her husband, James Siciliano, died in April 1996.
She leaves a son, Peter P. Siciliano of Springfield; a daughter, Judith I. Ferris of North Adams; her former husband, Nicholas D. Mavrikes of Youngstown, Ohio, and two grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- There will be no services for Alvina Siciliano. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Williamstown Commons in care of FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247, which is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Dina Ferris of North Adams and Anthony Ferris of South Boston. A brother, Enrico Colabattista, is deceased. Mrs. Siciliano was a devoted wife and mother.
