Charles "Chuck" Hall Jr., 58, of 236 Columbus Ave. died Sunday at home.
Born on July 13, 1945, in Great Barrington, the son of the late Charles Hall Sr. and Alberta Hoiser Hall, he was educated in Great Barrington schools.
He moved to Pittsfield four years ago.
At the time of his death, he was a sorter for Goodwill Industries on Tyler Street, where he had worked for four years. He was also affiliated with Project Aim on North Street.
Before moving to Pittsfield, he worked in Great Barrington as a laborer for Roger Trucking for 30 years.
He loved animals, especially cats.
He leaves a son, Charles Hall III of Pittsfield; two brothers, John Hall of Becket and Raymond Hall of Great Barrington, and three sisters, Diane Hall of the state of New York, Linda Rosato of Florence, Vt., and Sally Hall of the state of Florida.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Charles "Chuck" Hall Jr., who died Oct. 19, will be conducted Friday, Oct. 24, at 1 at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield by the Rev. William Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel in Lanesboro.
Following cremation, burial will take place at a later date in Corashire Cemetery in Monterey. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Goodwill Industries of Pittsfield in care of the funeral home, 54 Badford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
