Barbara J. Murnane, 61, of 15 Bartlett Ave. died Wednesday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Nov. 26, 1941, daughter of Henry and Agnes Rawling Fuore, she was a 1959 graduate of the former Dalton High School and a 1994 honors graduate of the School of Paralegal Studies.
Mrs. Murnane was a counselor for Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services of Berkshire County.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.
Her husband, Matthew J. Murnane, whom she married in 1970, died Dec. 20, 1973.
She leaves three sons, Dean Lash of Little Rock, Ark., Kevin Lash of Atlanta and Alan Lash of Pittsfield, and a sister, Patricia Wasuk of Lenox.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Barbara Fuore Murnane will be celebrated Saturday, Oct. 11, at 9 at St. Joseph's Church by the Rev. Michael Shershanovich, pastor.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the St. Joseph's Church Flower Fund, c/o WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. Mrs. Murnane was dedicated to her sons and family. She leaves a niece and several nephews.
