Eric Richard Monk, 2, of 19 Cliff Ave. died Monday, Sept. 29, at home.
Born in Pittsfield on July 24, 2001, he was the son of Richard and Barbara Wells Rich Monk.
Eric enjoyed watching Nickelodeon, especially SpongeBob SquarePants, Bob the Builder, Elmo's World and Little Bill.
He also enjoyed toy cars, balls, french fries and spaghetti.
Besides his mother, of Pittsfield, and his father, of Erie, Pa., he leaves a brother, Craig Rich of Newport, R.I., and two sisters, Christy and Laurie Rich, both of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Eric Richard Monk, age 2, died Sept. 29, 2003. He also is survived by three aunts, Laurie Forfa, Susan Cosgrove and Kathleen Shaw, and his uncle, Richard Wells Jr. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 4 to 7 at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 8:15 from the funeral home, followed by a Libra Service at 9 at St. Joseph's Church celebrated by the Rev. Michael Shershanovich, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Laurie Rich Scholarship Fund in care of the funeral home, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
