Barbara Frances Marcucci, 67, of 149 Benedict Road died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on June 18, 1936, daughter of Barbara J. Hartwell Richards and the late Donald L. Richards, she was a 1954 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Marcucci was employed by K-B Toys in the purchasing department, retiring in 1996.
She also worked for GE in the power transformer department for 10 years and for the Pittsfield Public School System in the food service department for 20 years.
She and her husband, Donald P. Marcucci, were married July 22, 1966, in St. Mary's Church.
Besides her husband and mother, of Winter Springs, Fla., she leaves two sons, David M. Kostyun and James A. Kostyun, both of Pittsfield; a daughter, Diane S. Breen of Pittsfield; two brothers, Donald L. Richards of Tucson, Ariz., and Ronald L. Richards of Largo, Fla.; two sisters, Janet R. Crosier of Pittsfield and Bonnie J. Murphy of Winter Springs, and two grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Barbara F. Marcucci, 67, died Oct. 4, 2003. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Stephen and Jamie Kostyun; her son-in-law, Timothy Breen; her daughters-in-law, Pamela M. and Brenda G. Kostyun, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Beverly A. Richards and Judy A. Antonni.
The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 11 at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. William Furey. Interment will be at a later date. The family will receive friends from 10 until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
