Paul F. Alvaro Jr., 39, of Calhoun, Ga., formerly of Pittsfield, died Wednesday of a heart attack while hunting.
Born in Pittsfield on April 15, 1964, son of the late Paul F. Alvaro Sr. and the late Donna M. Peaslee Alvaro Chapman, he attended parochial and public schools in Pittsfield.
He moved to Georgia 15 years ago.
Mr. Alvaro was a communicant of Notre Dame Church.
He enjoy-ed hunting and fishing.
He and his wife, the former Patricia Dodd, were married June 26, 1995, in Georgia.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Alicia M. Alvaro of West Rutland, Vt.; a son, Christopher P. Davisof Pittsfield, and three sisters, Betty-Jo Alvaro, Jerrie Peaslee and Jackie Sacco, all of Pittsfield. He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Amanda M. Davis.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Paul F. Alvaro Jr., who died Sept. 24, 2003, will be held Friday, Oct. 3, at 11 at Berkshire Union Chapel, 191 Old State Road, Berkshire, Mass., followed by a celebration of his life at 4 at the Polish Community Club, 55 Linden St., Pittsfield. Mr. Alvaro is also survived by two nieces and a nephew.
