Paul C. Broderick, 72, formerly of 83 Curtis Ave., died Sunday at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington, Vt.
Born in Pittsfield on May 29, 1931, son of Cornelius and Margaret Cowhig Broderick, he was educated in Lenox schools and was a 1949 graduate of Lenox High School.
He served in the Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Broderick was employed by former Eaton Paper Co. in Pittsfield for 31 years, retiring in 1988.
A communicant of St. Agnes' Church, he enjoyed antique cars and bingo and was a Red Sox fan.
He leaves his brother, Robert Broderick of Enfield, Conn., and two sisters, Anne Quillard and Theresa Broderick, both of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A visiting hour from 8 to 9 on Wednesday at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME will precede the funeral for Paul C. Broderick, 72, who died Sept. 28, 2003. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 at St. Agnes' Church by the Rev. Christopher Malatesta, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to Berkshire County ARC in care of the funeral home, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201. Mr. Broderick was predeceased by a sister, Rita Karkos, on Jan. 1, 1998. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
