Nathan Auguste “Nate” Wieland-Bolio

Nathan Auguste “Nate” Wieland-Bolio, 20, of Cummings Avenue died Tuesday at home.

Born in Pittsfield on Aug. 6, 1983, son of Craig R. Bolio and Diane Wieland Bolio Baumann, both of Pittsfield, he lived in Hinsdale most of his life and attended Kittredge School. He was a 2001 graduate of Wahconah Regional High School in Dalton.

He later completed the educational program at RiTop Mobile Electronics School in Waltham.

At the time of his death, he was employed as an installer at Pro Audio Electronics and also worked part time in the housekeeping department at Eastover Resort in Lenox.

He was an avid fan of sports cars, and enjoyed riding his dirt bike and playing pool.

He also enjoyed gadgets and installing custom audio equipment in his friends’ cars.

Besides his parents, he leaves his stepfather, William “Bumper” Baumann of Pittsfield; his stepmother, Lauren Bolio of Pittsfield; his paternal grandmother, Caretta Bolio of Peru; his maternal grandmother and stepgrandfather Sally and David Howe of Hinsdale, and his maternal grandfather, Gilbert Wieland of Holyoke.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Nathan Auguste Wieland-Bolio will be conducted Saturday at 10 at ROCHE FUNERAL HOME in Lenox by the Rev. Luther Pierce of Peru. Burial will be in South Cemetery in Peru. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home.

Nate is also survived by his brothers, William, Daniel and Ryder McCarron, his sister, Kylie McCarron , his loving uncles, aunts and cousins, and by his best friend, Tim Winchell. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in Nate’s memory to the charity or fund of their choice in care of the funeral home, 120 Main St., Lenox, MA 01240.
