Eva Morin, 90, of 65 Columbus Ave. died yesterday morning at home.
Born in Newberry, N.H., on Sept. 7, 1913, daughter of Leslie and Lucy Gangraw Meyette, she attended schools in Peru and Hinsdale.
She was employed as shirt press operator at various cleaners in Pittsfield, most recently at Berkshire Cleaners, where she worked for 14 years.
She retired in 1990. Previously, she had worked as a waitress.
She was a doll collector.
She enjoyed playing cards, and in her younger years, enjoyed dancing.
Her husband, Edward F. Morin, whom she married May 1, 1934, died April 13, 2000.
She leaves several nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Eva Morin, who died Thursday, Sept. 11, was predeceased by her two brothers, Pearlie and Frank Meyette, and her four sisters, Dora Hotaling, Florence Reynolds, Myrtle Grandbois and Margaret Mullens.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mildred Stevens of Cummington and Mary Kmiecik of Ware; her brother-in-law, Arlin Stevens; several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, “Lucky Woggins.†Funeral services will be Monday, Sept. 15, at 11 at the DERY FUNERAL HOME with the Rev. William D. Furey officiating. Burial will follow in East Windsor Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday from 10 to 11. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
