Iva Mae Cullett

Iva Mae Cullett, 84, of 260 Cheshire Road died Monday morning at home.
Born in Lenox Dale on July 5, 1919, daughter of Frederick G. and L. Mae Blake Joyner, she was a 1936 graduate of Lenox High School.
Mrs. Cullett was employed by GE as a designer in the ordnance systems division for 37 years, retiring Dec. 31, 1979.
She attended Pilgrim Memorial Church and was active in its Pilgrims’ Daughters.
She was a member of the GE Quarter Century and Pensioners’ clubs, and enjoyed knitting.
Her husband, Paul L. Cullett Jr., whom she married Sept. 4, 1970, died Sept. 21, 1990.
She leaves a stepson, Paul L. Cullett Jr. of Dalton; three stepdaughters, Helen Schnopp of Charlotte, Vt., Karen Amodie of the state of Florida and Irene Collias of Becket; a sister, Doris Hover of Pittsfield; 10 stepgrandchildren and 22 stepgreat-grandchildren. Another stepdaughter, Carol Cullett, is deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Iva Mae Cullett, 84, who died Monday, Aug. 18, 2003, also is survived by two nieces, Roberta Hover and Theresa Johnson, and her great-nephew, Burton Johnson. Her longtime companion, George Scace, died Dec. 22, 2001.
The funeral will be conducted Friday, Aug. 22, at noon at DERY FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Cory Loder, pastor of Pilgrim Memorial Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Maple Street Cemetery, Hinsdale. Calling hours will be Friday from 11 until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield.
