Marie Rose Trembley, 48, of Berkshiretown Apartments died Saturday evening at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Holyoke on Nov. 2, 1954, daughter of Veronica Starsiak Trembley and the late Richard E. Trembley, she was a graduate of Crotched Mountain School in Greenfield, N.H.
She was a communicant of Holy Family Church. For five years, she participated in Special Olympics.
She enjoyed going to dinner and the movies, picnicking, traveling with her family, spending time with her pets and listening to music.
She leaves her mother, of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Marie Rose Trembley, who died Saturday, Aug. 16, also leaves her caregivers, Annette Sarkis and Marie Girard; two aunts, Mary Starsiak and Amelia Starsiak, both of Pittsfield; her cousins, Nancy, Rebecca, John and Mark Beaupre, and Deborah Sneedon.
The funeral will be Thursday, Aug. 21, at 8:15 from DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 4 to 7 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to United Cerebral Palsy in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. Her brother, Richard E. Trembley Jr., died Nov. 11, 1962.
