Dorothy Matilda Coyle, 83, of 21 Eleanor Road died Friday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Feb. 11, 1920, daughter of Clarence and Mary Quirk Lyman, she was a 1939 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Coyle was a secretary and bookkeeper for Coyle Letter Service, her family’s printing and advertising company, for many years.
She retired in 1985.
Her husband, Charles W. Coyle Sr., whom she married in 1944, died in January 1996.
She leaves a son, Charles W. “Chuck†Coyle Jr. of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Dorothy M. Lyman Coyle, 83, who died Aug. 15, 2003, will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the March of Dimes in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, which is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her son, Charles W. “Chuck†Coyle Jr. She was predeceased by a brother, Arthur W. Lyman, on Dec. 10, 1996.
